Hillview is a community workshop in Hillview, open six sessions a week. Members make things for themselves and for the community: planter boxes for the kindergarten, bird boxes for the school, chopping boards for the market. Some of us are tradesmen; most of us are not. Come and have a look on any day we are open, and stay for morning tea.

Two shifts. The trailer goes down at seven.
The gates open and the kettle goes on. Bring somebody who has been meaning to come.
Furniture repairs, toys for the hospital, bird boxes, planter boxes, the odd wooden boat. Turned bowls on the lathes, and in the metal room anything from a trailer hitch to a garden gate. If you have a job that needs doing, ask: we take on community work at the cost of materials.
Anybody over eighteen is welcome. Fill in the form below and somebody will ring you.
Come in on any session and sign in at the door. Ask for the captain.
Third Sunday of the month at the Hillview farmers market, March to November.
The open day is the first Saturday in November, nine till one. The annual general meeting is the week after; every member is welcome and morning tea is on afterwards.
The Wattle Park shed came over for a morning, twelve of them, and were shown the metal room. Their turn to host next.
After two quotes and a committee meeting the roller door has a new motor and goes all the way up without help. Thank you to the people who held it for a year.
